that metalhead kid found a suit that fits

just a dozen or so dead ends ago
he was screaming in a grindcore band

like his mother
she had a similar dream
played drums in the riot grrrl scene
watched her friends hit it big
and then called it quits
started living within her means

smelled that metropolitan angst
had to learn it the hard way
